Session: A Job in Trading

During this session, Vincent will match the season, providing valuable information for:

 

• students looking for an internship or permanent position in the financial sector / trading

• people who are interested in knowing more about market makers and their position in capital markets

 

We will answer questions like:

• What is the difference between (working for) a bank and a trading firm?

• Is any trader role the same? What about a quant or a risk analyst?

• What skill set does a career in trading require?

• How do market makers fit into our financial system?

• What can I expect during an interview?

 

There will be plenty of room to ask questions. The more relevant your question, the more likely it will be answered in detail. Also, stay in touch with Vincent after the session and receive additional materials!

 

As you can see, we tailor this session around the season: in many places in the world, students are trying to find a(n intern) position - and Vincent will try to simplify this difficult but very essential question.
